In 2019, debating with a COO that didn’t want any WFH at all, I said that requiring people to sit in front of you to work is saying that you don’t trust them and that you don’t know how to manage them or measure their output.
He didn’t accept it, but had no rebuttal. I wonder if he’s learned any of that by now.

There’s a lot of nuance with this, but for most office jobs it’s true.
