🔵 As long as it's punishment for a crime, slavery is still legal under the 13th amendment. 🔵 Legality & morality are not inherently the same thing, nor are they intrinsically linked in any way. 🔵 People require clean food & water, stable & secure housing, & regular medical care to live. Corporations charge money for all those things, while destroying or assimilating free sources of those things & lobbying to make protesting their actions illegal.
