My Chromebook is always plugged in. I haven't used it on battery for maybe two years. I noticed bat level was 19%. I had it on smart charge that is supposed to keep it around 80% to help bat life. Just unplugging or changing power settings didn't change it. Let it rundown and shut off before bed last night and then plugged it in while sleeping. It charged to 100% and now is hovering with charging paused at 80% like it should be. Even though i don't usually use battery I wanted it available.
