@alis@tech.lgbt @ShadowJonathan@tech.lgbt Yk... I really dislike docker and how it has discouraged people from making good instructions for just bare metal installs. Especially when you use other types of infrastructure, the assumption you're using docker is really annoying.
A great example is opencloud. They have a binary, but zero details on how to properly configure it on bare metal. It has environment variables that aren't documented and keeps assuming you use their specific docker compose file, which has so many different interconnected pieces that it's somewhat hard to read. This is all encouraged by docker and it annoys me.
I am genuinely sick of docker and everything being dockerized.

@siblingsofthevoid@void.lgbt @ShadowJonathan@tech.lgbt why not use docker tho? unless ur setting something up on an openwrt router w 4MB of disk space i cant really think of a reason
