I'm glad evolution invented richly detailed vision, hearing, and other sensory qualia before it invented human-level sentience. Imagine if everything you knew about the world came from a photoreceptor, an accelerometer, some whiskers, and a vague impression of how hungry you currently are.
I would probably develop a better sense of direction though. Gotta practice my dead reckoning. Bumping around like a roomba. Better hope there are no cliffs on this planet.
