LOLLLL, I know this is not the point, but when chickens and eggs came up in this chat with regard to monopolies, I could not help but think of someone I used to know who would only refer to their employer as “the egg mafia.” Like, completely stone-faced. Do not fuck with the egg mafia, they would basically say. The egg mafia does shit to protect their business, and you don’t want to know.
