@Mab_813@fedi.at @troy_frizzell@mstdn.social It has been known since the Nixon/JFK debates that the person who looks better on TV has a huge edge what you are missing in this particular contest is that the other two candidates - Gov Mills and Costello - were boring as watching paint dry; it turned out that in this particular case, Gov Mills was to old; he had no energy I don't know if it was masculinity (vs LaFlamme) or that he was the only one who was really articulating a progressive message, but here in the US we are **desperate for progressives
