When I was in high school I had a friend who could talk your ear off, and you wouldn’t be able to get a word in when he really got into the conversation. However, when we would message on ICQ, he would only ever answer with one word responses. Since then I have really thought about how the medium and method of communication has a huge impact on how people engage with one another. 1/2
