Finally tried a full repeating pattern. Unfortunately, I forgot my machine over-rotates for some reason so it overlapped. Probably a factor of it being a rim drive instead of a chuck jaws model, which wasn't an option for my machine (but would totally work; yay stupid product segmentation). I'm tempted to reduce the circumference and not readjust the design. Probably would still have a visible seam, but look better. This took 20 minutes, and I'd have to open a new case, so not right now.
