Conservative media in Australia are lamenting 'Labour detonates a negative equity bomb' in the housing market. Pointing to first home buyers going into negative equity. Most first home buyers don't care, they are not trying to resell at a profit, they just want a home. Those who invested in the negatively geared leveraged purchase of multiple properties invested in a bubble, and now it's popping. My sympathy is very limited.
