I don’t think that is a good place for it. Doesn’t alias stuff in the bashrc only run at terminal start? The KDE connect issue is during suspend. I’ve heard of it going in cron, and I know there is a thread out there about doing it on wake. discuss.kde.org/t/…/18520 There are a few threads like this. I won’t link them all.
