The census is a treasure for researchers & policy makers. It’s fundamental to any planning for democratic representation. It offers a wealth of information that can be used to do good things. Censuses operate differently in different countries. Census & similar data have been used - tho not in Australia as far as I know - to identify & target members of minority groups, in ways those communities will never forget. I respect anyone’s hesitation to participate. Trust is everything. Please be safe.
