It takes place seemingly 250-ish years after Three Houses, on the continent of Dagda (where Shamir is from), an adult Sothis appears and Seteth returns, and seemingly some of the characters are descendents of some of the Three Houses characters (one of the protagonists is almost certainly the descendant of Mercedes or Jeritza, he has the same crest and hair colour as them, and his armor looks similar to the armor Jeritza wears as Death Knight)
