@azonenberg@ioc.exchange Who among us does not desperately need an air exchanger at this point? Keeping the house closed up to avoid both particulates and daytime dew points exceeding 80°F .. well there are consequences if the 3 humans and 5 dogs keep breathing.

@acsawdey@fosstodon.org I've wanted an ERV for a while, especially in the lab, but it would need *good* filtration to be usable in this weather. The house is ventilated by passive diffusion if we don't have windows open, and the lab has an exhaust fan system but the filters there are only like MERV 13 or so and the fit around the edge is leaky so when I run it, lots of outside particulate gets in
