@Barbramon1@mas.to @Clutha@mastodon.scot Exactly! Opponents of wind power cite bird deaths, but a thousand times more birds are killed by house cats. And a similar huge number die from striking building windows.
So while I’m all in favour of any way to mitigate bird deaths, those who cite these deaths as a reason to oppose wind power are being disingenuous.

@michaelgemar@cosocial.ca @Clutha@mastodon.scot In many cases those who oppose wind turbines are not disingenuous, but are simply lying. It's typical of fossil fuel promoters.
