Mt. Hood Meadows on Facebook earlier:
"Mountain Update (8/4): Whelp, we hoped we wouldn’t have to post this, but here we are. As of this morning, Meadows is under a Level 3 (Go Now) evacuation.
We are in communication with the forest service and are watching the weather diligently. We ask that everyone stay away from the area so fire personnel can do their jobs.

@YakyuNightOwl@mastodon.world I just saw that it was a California Fire Fighter (Chief?) from Rancho Cucamonga FD that gave the press briefing at Meadows Ski resort. That’s almost a 1,000 mile drive for he and the crew! Thanks RCFD for the help 🙌 #wildfires #mthood #Oregon
