Does anyone know anything about phytoremidiation? I notice a lot of the "topsoil" we get for our community garden is suspiciously like erm... sifted builder-rubble with some added nutrients. It doesn't hold water at all (not helpful) and I'm dubious about what is in it. I recently found out plants can break down toxins, I'm not an academic, so just putting feelers out to find out more about this. If anyone knows about it, they're probably on here.
