@zackwhittaker@mastodon.social Doesn't sound like a hack, especially when it says they were caught, sounds more like a multi-corp decision following diarrhea don's trickle down crypto theft. Crypto: “hidden, secret" - disappear - "1. a person having a secret allegiance to a political creed, especially communism" All the "blame hackers" are from within the company decision allowing them to steal legally. We all know the ad people are nefarious, just from the nature of ads and deception by corporations.

@zackwhittaker@mastodon.social This is exactly why I block ads by default. If an ad network serving 1.5 billion ads a day can get compromised, trusting every ad on the web is just asking for trouble.
