Also, there are diffuse greenhouse coverings which scatter the light coming through, unlike normal glass. There is some overlap with indoor cannabis cultivation when it comes to maximizing greenhouse efficiency! It seems like scattered, diffuse light is what's desired.
Now if only I had land, I'd definitely try to grow strawberries year-round. :)

@filomel@musician.social For my location this would not help much, as it's basically totally cloudy during the winter. Still this could extend growing season somewhat. @stevewfolds@mastodon.world @faab64@todon.eu
