@wizardmanperson@poa.st @RustyCrab@clubcyberia.co last time I tried to get a raise my boss was completely baffled and told me nobody gets more than that. Prob backfired because he was a lefty and didn't even lie there. It was 58k and I wanted to get to 70 since that is what other companies were fine with for newcomers. Well you can prob guess what I decided after that lol

@geistigbehindert@detroitriotcity.com @RustyCrab@clubcyberia.co it happens and you can get push back (i heard back this exact same argument once), but like any negotiation, one needs to be realistic and also know how to negotiate. Yes, changing jobs is faster to get more money, but to my original point, the giy already gave several testaments to rusty competence, and a quick convo about it is quick
