@jospoortvliet@fosstodon.org this is what happens when the Linux desktop is turned into an appliance. The computers you have most of in your house are Linux computers. The computers you have the best interaction with, are Linux computers. Why? Because they are appliances. They are set up with a sane default that HAS to work out of the box. The main reason the Linux desktop has historically been for nerds (like me) is that it is the opposite of an appliance
