@elazar@phpc.social I like his thinking, but also believe he still has things tupsy-turvy. The question shouldn't be "what problem does this solve" from a *human* perspective. In my view, the question should be: what problem does a temporary human life solve from the perspective of eternal beings ?

    @jrf_nl@phpc.social I tend to think that he was probably considering it from a humanist perspective, even if perhaps a pessimistic or skeptic one: If humanity can't collectively learn something as simple as how to co-exist without war in the span of a human lifetime, the whole of history, time, or existence probably isn't going to change that...
