They’re only seemingly equivalent if you’re one of those folks who votes based off of one talking point. Once you look at the whole body of things each side are doing, its clear they’re not even close to equivalent.

If I hear someone say “I support genocide”, even if it’s followed up by “but less than the other guy!” (which is again not supported by actual mortality numbers), I do not care what else they have to say. They are equivalent in every way which matters.
