@mensrea@freeradical.zone @png@yap.pony.biz When I was at school, one of our assignments from our Latin class was to make one of the recipes from Apicius. I started with a recipe for stuffed dates, but updated it for the existence of a food processor. The end result looked like a chocolate truffle dusted in sugar, but was dates, pin kernels, and a few other things, dusted in salt. They were actually quite nice if you were expecting them, but if you bit into them expecting a chocolate truffle you were very surprised. A lot of people jumped in to try one before asking what they were.
