Hmm I wonder what's faster to build a custom raspberry pi image, when windows is what I have to work with:
- setting up a dedicated linux VM
- building a custom WSL2 linux kernel
- building the distro on a pi itself
All options seem kinda crap lol

I would just build a nixos image instead since that's orders of magnitude simpler – or would be, if they hadn't thrown the linux-rpi kernel off the binary cache >.>
