New on Adobe.Design: a short piece by me on using grade to elevate our typography. If you’ve not encountered grade before, it might at first seem rather like weight, but where weight serves to differentiate (adding emphasis and contrast to text), grade’s purpose is to unify (bringing consistency to text that looks different when it shouldn’t).
