And that dovetails with the role they would like to see women in: "You'll be our hood ornaments, and you'll like it." Or take a guy like Hegseth. He fucking sucks at every job he's ever held. But because he looks and sounds in a way that exactly aligns with the fascist aesthetic of a "strong" military leader, he commands the world's scariest military.
