Sounds about right. Don't know if it's a specific problem when third party authentication is used but it often does this then when you ask it to re-auth again it goes to the third party ID provider, realises it's already signed in and starts working without further authentication.
At least it's not just me ...

@sxa@fosstodon.org I found I had to login a lot recently for work accounts. Turns out some pages were going via ipv6 and some ipv4 and Entra was flagging that a suspicious 🤦♂️
