I'm playing with 9front's locks. Our spinlock, as far as I can tell, should be laughably bad, but rough microbenchmarks are actually giving me reasonable results, partly because the locks are hilariously unfair. Does anyone know of any good, representative benchmark suites I should be stealing ideas from, or even better, porting?
