A machine with unbounded output can't be integrated into a company, into your life, or into greater systems since you can't imagine the range of possible outputs and plan to interface with them. LLMs and systems that execute macros generated by LLMs strive for the illusion of unbounded output (although there are limits they are just very broad and can't be user defined or "guard railed")

    I often opine on the "interoperability crisis" (if other people can just make up a "crisis" so can I.) To me the greatest failure of modern software is how incompatible everything is. You can't ask "Alexa" to add an event to your Google Calendar. (for example) Instead of finding industry collaborative or regulatory solutions ... we have "AI Agents" An even more complex and less reliable part of these system just to get the result ... maybe sometimes.
