@cdegroot@mstdn.ca Christopher Alexander’s A Pattern Language has been a major influence on my view of “the created environment”, with his ideas and examples how people to take control themselves (instead of leaving it to architects). Amazing you got this opportunity to work with him!

@ArthurClemens@todon.nl yeah, I still have to pinch myself at times. During my career, I've been lucky to run into more than one "household name" in our industry, and while I don't want to belittle any of the others, this one stands out as a very fond memory.
