You shouldn't need a dedicated app to access a bank account, you should only need a good web browser. Any bank that doesn't have a webpage for this is already knee deep in some serious #accessibility issues: Too poor for a phone? no banking. Can't see? Obfuscated banking app breaks screen reader. Old or unsupported OS? Tough luck. This artificial exclusion should be illegal.

@Gina@fosstodon.org @rikviergever@mastodon.social @murena@mastodon.social I also heard some banking apps refuse to work when "Developer options" is enabled, despite having practically no negative effect on good app security. They should've used the device's secure element instead. I need dev options for accessibility tweaks, and other technical stuff like automation, #Termux, and to bypass the upcoming "developer verification" crap. Meanwhile, both a universal #Morphe patch, and the "Geto" app bypass this. Gotta love #SecurityByObscurity
