You can download and install it on your phone by yourself. You have to verify on the website of the project if your phone is supported or not. https://doc.e.foundation/devices If your device is officially supported, is very easy to install, if is a community support (like in my situation with a Motorola device) it require a bit of technology experience, and a personal computer with ADB (android developer tools) installed. In my situation I made a lot of mistakes the first time, It took me some days to learn how to install the system, but now I'm very satisfied. A feature that I appreciate very much is IP address hiding. I have many friends in Palestine, they survive with donations and they need Instagram to create posts to ask the world to support them. Many times meta (the company behind Instagram) close their accounts because their IP address comes from Palestine. If I can find a way to help my friends switch to this android operating system build around our privacy, I can help they to limit profiles blocking from instagram
