Not a single outlet eulogising him has mentioned that he received a police caution for domestic assault, after he punched his girlfriend who was at that time 20 weeks pregnant.
His misogyny was also blatant in the pages of the Spectator, who ran his piece on Harriet Harman as their cover feature in 2009.
Where his commentary started with; "Would you? I mean after a few beers obviously, not while you were sober."

I'm also struggling to find in the reports the fact he thought it was acceptable to mock the Labour MP Rosie Duffield, who was holding back tears while recounting her own experiences with domestic violence. Or his comments about "Muslim savages", how he felt "there is not nearly enough Islamophobia in the Tory Party", how elections should be held on Islamic holy days to stop Muslims from voting, and other Islamophobic pieces.
