I look at a world where US GDP is ~ 40 Trillion, and global GDP is well over 100 Trillion and
a default on a trillion or so in AI bonds just doesn't seem that critical; bigger then WHOOPs* or Enron or the dotcom bust, but not really that big a thing
yeah, we may have a mild recession but those come and go, I mean really really hard on those laid off, but overall not that big a deal

@failedLyndonLaRouchite@mas.to @anttipeltola@mastodon.world The estimates from economists are that the AI bubble is responsible for enough that a correction would wipe out about $15-30 T from the US stock market. If you think 'bigger than the .com bust' is 'not really that big a thing', I don't know what to say. It was much more than a 'mild recession'. The liquidity crunch alone from the AI bubble bursting is going to be painful. The lost value in pension funds is going to cause enormous disruption.
