can you help me understand what the difference is between 'an alternative to instagram' and 'a clone of instagram' because pixelfed is just an uninspired cheap knockoff, nothing there worth saving really, not sure why it was ever made. maybe some kid's "learn to program" project? it's not needed since you can just post pictures to a regular activitypub account... so what's missing? the UI? a specific phone program interface? I don't get it
