A thread with thoughts about Urbansketching on the Fediverse and Atmosphere. Would love to hear fellow sketchers reflections.
It is possible to find urbansketchers in the Fediverse and in the Bluesky Atmosphere but it's not near the activity seen on Instagram (yet, let's be optimistic!).
It seems there was an inflow to Bluesky in 2025 that didn't catch on, so a lot of accounts have no recent posts or none at all. TBC

The Sky culture does not seem to be so prone to reposting as we are in the Fediverse which might make it hard to reach new followers. Very few bluesky accounts use the bridge to the fediverse so they are missing out on interaction with us on Mastodon (images from bluesky does not federate to Pixelfed if I remember correctly). And here on the fediverse we are both on Mastodon and Pixelfed. The only urban sketcher chapter I have found on the Fediverse is @USK_Paris
