I strongly disagree she and I have exchanged comments and I definitely didn’t get “young boy” out of it, but even if I were to play devils advocate and have that thought experiment, what would it matter? People are reacting to a female perspective, they are reacting to the concept of female sexuality and agency, what people are responding to is an explicitly female persona, in your opinion, and the results are the same. Who Violet is isn’t actually that relevant it’s how her persona is treated and reacted to that is telling, yourself included.
