Urban sketchers: If you use watercolor in your sketches, do you use watercolor paper? Are your sketches pencil or ink (fineliner or ballpoint)?

@peterdrake@mstdn.social I prefer a more smooth surface as I often draw with a fountainpen first. For the moment I have a Fabriano sketchbook "Drawing" 160 gsm. I draw on both sides. But my favourite paper is Canson 180gsm which I buy on a roll and make the sketchbooks myself. But I also just finished a spiral pad; Fabriano 200gsm and now I have a pad with 300 gsm where I can really pour water. #urbansketching
