about once month ill open a random poastie's account to scroll through their timeline its a special kind of sadness i feel when i see that 9 out of ten, or more, posts are only /pol/ posts. how much of these people's daily mindset is obsessed with /pol/ posting, every day, 7 days a week, 30 (31) days a month, just about posting about spics, niggers, fags, trannies, kikes, and so forth. nothing else occupies that person's mind on the daily when posting on fediverse. not their family. not their garden. not their hobbies. not their lives. not their career. not their children. not their wellbeing. not their trainings past or currently active. not their favourite media. not their relations. not their friends. not their actions done AWAY from computer. not their daily observances. not their new found knowledge of the past week/month to help them strive in any way (knowing FBI racial statistics, or most other statistics by exact numbers, doesnt really help one strive). the other 10% is usually a type of hentai or hentai adjacent content, often being "my pwetty waifu i would rape (consensually)" posts like i have a evening ritual of sauna to decompress, to sparsen my thoughts, to have a couple ten minutes to think about the immediate past and future these poasties i find, they have a (evening? or full-day) ritual to continuously inflict pain on their self, without any potential for gain. a daily ritual of angering themselves, of hating an imagined target around them. instead of going outside and talking to niggers, and stabbing them, they just pretend to support doing something, without ever doing much themselves to rid the perceived source of hatred. of course, not saying that killing a perceived enemy is actually correct, matter is that it probably isnt for most people. there's methods much calmer too, much more effective long term, much less riskier. but all of those involve effort, understanding, and most importantly, mental pain and realizing how often one is wrong, and that's the greatest pain to suffer. it is unfortunate, and saddening, to see posts like that fill 100% of someone's timeline in the past 30 days. i'm obsessed with this type of observation. watching people with absolutely 0 self-awareness of the spiralling hole their soul is in when they turn on and use their own personally preferred media hate machine. all this hate, and all of that hate thrown into a worthless outlet that only amplifies it back towards themselves like a mirror, making it harder, and harder to escape the self-induced self-indoctrination. its like watching someone defend themselves and their own beliefs/thoughts, essentially against themselves. because there is no long term opponent to fight, over a multi day lasting argument. because one can (and often does) just totally dismiss the opponent over the internet, but there's an infinite amount of short term, 1 minute battles, that can be won quick by spinning the quick buzzword of choice. each one of these mini battles affirms the self and ego of being correct, feeling good and superior. each one of these long battles is annoying, painful, argumentative, possibly inconclusive or multifaceted, causing great internal pain, forcing new pathways to be created (brain pain, and opposite of belief system to defend! how can this be!) poast is... a safe space
