Tried a weekly shop at Lidl instead of Aldi as they have some better vegetarian options. Came out about the same on price, but the extra 10 minute walk back whilst fully laden is a killer.

@fak@cupoftea.social For reasons I can barely put into words, I hate Aldi and love (ok, like) Lidl. So much so that friends think I shill for Lidl. And I don't know how it is there, but Lidl's bakery section over here does possibly the best croissants this side of the French border (at <1/4 of the price of the terrible ones from the "real" bakeries).
