Unions aren't perfect. I've pointed out various flaws in the past. However, I am 100% in the corner of the flight attendants in their fight against WestJet.
The correct number of unpaid work hours for any job is "zero hours".
Zero.
Not 35 hours / month.
Not 15 hours / month.
Not 5 hours / month.
Zero hours / month. Period.
Shame on WestJet - and every other airline that does this.
