They do not. I have worked half a decade as coach/manager in customer support where certain things had to be said during calls. Post-it on the screen will be effective until the next lunch break, then it disappears into the void for me and the 100+ people I worked with over the years experienced the same. I always recommended a reminder to pop up, having to click to get rid of it made it effective for an extra couple of days.
