A Bullet Instead of a Pen… Sixth-grade student Khaled Al-Ashram was shot by Israeli forces inside Al-Sawafir School in western Gaza. A bullet pierced his small hand and lodged in his wrist while he was sitting at his desk, holding his pen. A child who came to learn returned home wounded.
