GitHub is a business making a profit from git hosting for corporations. Codeberg is a non-profit for hosting free software projects. What is Codeberg? On Codeberg you can develop your own Free Software projects, contribute to other projects, browse through inspiring and useful free software, share your knowledge or build your projects a home on the web using Codeberg Pages, just to name a few. I don’t think they’re delusional enough to think their mission is to singlehandedly kill proprietary software.
