I (briefly) reviewed about 10 or so various repos that interface with the sondehub api. most had some evidence (usually strong and a lot) of LLM assistance. Most abuse/misuse the sondehub api in some way. Some uploaders are very bad. Some have hallucinated that our sondes endpoint is actually /balloons but fallback to /sondes for some reason..... Many of these apps aren't need, or are just the same app 3 other LLMs have already made. Luckily few of these apps have any real usage so the impact is minimal. But the ratio of having contacting many developers instead of a handful is not great. It's a fucking mess.
