@Tutanota@mastodon.social I tried de-googling in the past, installing LineageOS on my smartphone, only to find out that without GoogleEngine I was not able to install my banking and other security-critical apps. Has the situation changed in the mean time, and is it possible to run common banking, health and identification apps without Google Play and GoogleEngine? #degoogle

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Completely deMeta from 2013, Completely deGoogled from 2022, I’ve never used Microsoft and have always avoided it like the plague and I stopped using Apple in 2024, when I switched completely to Linux
