The question in my mind is how out of touch with reality does someone need to be to buy such things during a climate emergency? How many Telegraph editorials add up to a downpayment on one of these contraptions? Or is it a giant Up-Yours to other people and the rest of the living world?

In either case, unless you genuinely need such a thing for your work, I will think of you as an immoral person if you own one. And I believe we should all start thinking that way.
