it's weird how even in leftist spaces where talking about sex is appropriate and common, people still react negatively or are taken aback when you decide to go off about your desires as a top/dom/active/giving partner unless it's super soft and UwUified same way that they react when you have kinks that might be fucked up or extreme in their subject matter but otherwise harmless
