I have come to the sad conclusion that WorldCat (after getting scraped by genAI companies and slammed by annasarchive, no thanks for that asshole behaviour) is not easily usable for people anymore. You need an account, and you can't work too fast or you'll get botchecked. Sigh. Another commons ruined. #WorldCat

I'm checking metadata on Amazon now - Amazon! Library metadata going from bazaar to cathedral... I understand how it happened, but it's very worrisome to me. #WorldCat
